Jason (Jay) Robins has over 25 years of experience in biotech finance as both a sell-side equity research analyst and leading finance, accounting, new product planning, and strategy teams at growing pre-commercial and commercial biotech companies. Prior to his role as Chief Financial Officer at Ocular Therapeutix beginning in June 2026, he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer since January 2026 and Senior Vice President of Finance beginning in 2025, managing accounting, SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, and corporate planning.
Mr. Robins previously served as Vice President, Finance at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, playing a lead role in due diligence and post-merger integration after the company was acquired by Astra Zeneca. He has held senior finance roles at BeiGene, Merus and Epizyme, where he focused on raising capital, strategic collaborations, portfolio prioritization, precommercial development and launch strategies, the construction of global manufacturing facilities, and served as finance lead for the global commercial launch of three oncology products. He began his career as a sell side equity research analyst, covering biopharmaceutical and medical device companies for Deutsche Bank and Wachovia Securities.
Mr. Robins received a B.S. from Babson College, a M.S. from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences & Technology, and a M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
